PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Logitech H390 USB Wired Headset with Controller Off White (981-001287) - 2 Years Local Warranty
Logitech H390 USB Headset with In-Line Controller — Off White
The Logitech H390 (981-001287) is the workhorse USB headset in Logitech's H-series, and this is the Off White finish with a USB-A connector. Fine-tuned 30 mm drivers, a noise-cancelling boom microphone and an in-line controller for volume and mute make it a straightforward standard to deploy across Singapore offices, helpdesks and hybrid teams.
Noise-Cancelling Boom Microphone for Clear Calls
A bi-directional noise-cancelling microphone on a rotating boom keeps your voice clear and the office behind you quiet. Microphone response runs 100 Hz to 10 kHz at -17 dBV/Pa ±4 dB — a wider band than the entry H-series models, which makes speech sound noticeably more natural on Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet calls. Rotate the boom up when you are only listening.
30 mm Drivers and Padded Leatherette Ear Cushions
Fine-tuned 30 mm drivers deliver a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response at 94 dBV/Pa ±3 dB sensitivity into a 32 ohm impedance, so calls, training recordings and music all come through with body. Swivel-mounted leatherette ear cushions sit evenly on the ear and the headband adjusts to fit, which matters when the same headset is shared across shifts.
In-Line Volume, Mute and a 1.9 m Cable
The in-line controller puts volume up, volume down and microphone mute within easy reach on the cable, and the 1.9 m lead gives enough slack to stand up and stretch without unplugging. Passive noise isolation from the over-the-ear cups reduces distraction in open-plan offices.
Plug-and-Play Across Windows, macOS, ChromeOS and Linux
The H390 is a standard USB audio device that needs no drivers, no software and no licence. It operates from 4.75 to 5.25 VDC drawn from the USB port and is rated for 0 °C to +40 °C, so it is equally at home in an air-conditioned office or a warmer operations room.

Meeting and Softphone Applications
The H390 works as the audio device for Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Webex, Skype for Business and other softphone applications. Logitech does not publish a Microsoft Teams, Zoom or Google Meet device certification for the H390, so it is specified as a compatible USB headset rather than a certified one. Where a certified device is required by a tender, specify the H570e Teams version.
Software
No drivers or software are required. The H390 is not managed by Logitech Sync, Logi Options+ or Logi Tune — volume and microphone mute are handled by the in-line controller on the cable.

Frequently Asked Questions — Logitech H390
What is the difference between the H390 colour and connector options?
The H390 is mechanically and acoustically the same headset across all four SKUs SourceIT stocks — the differences are colour and connector. Graphite, Off White and Rose are USB-A (981-000485, 981-001287 and 981-001282); Graphite is also available with a native USB-C plug (981-001577). Specifications including the 30 mm driver, 1.9 m cable and in-line controls are identical.
Does this version use USB-A or USB-C?
This listing is the USB-A version. If your laptops only have USB-C ports, order the Logitech H390 USB-C Graphite (981-001577) to avoid needing an adapter or dock.
What do the in-line controls do?
The controller on the cable carries volume up, volume down and microphone mute. Mute acts at the headset, so it works regardless of which application is running — but the meeting application will not show you as muted, so check both if a colleague says they cannot hear you.
How does the H390 compare with the H340 and the H570e?
The H340 is the entry model — lighter at 120 g, no hardware controls and a narrower 6.5 kHz microphone band. The H390 adds in-line controls, 30 mm drivers, leatherette ear pads and a wider 10 kHz microphone band. The H570e steps up again to a business headset with two noise-cancelling microphones, Dynamic EQ, call answer and end controls, a mute status LED and hearing protection against sounds above 100 dBA.
Do I need a room PC, licence or management software?
No. The H390 is a plug-and-play peripheral for an existing computer. There is no licence, no subscription and no management platform. Note that it is also not manageable through Logitech Sync — if remote headset management matters, specify the H570e Teams version.
Is the H390 heavy for all-day wear?
At 197 g the H390 is heavier than the entry H-series models, because it uses larger 30 mm drivers and padded leatherette ear cushions. Most users find the padding more than compensates over a long day, but if minimum weight is the priority the H340 at 120 g or the H570e at 111 g are lighter alternatives.
Can I buy replacement ear pads for the H390?
Logitech does not list replacement ear cushions for the H390 as a separate part in Singapore. If serviceable ear pads are a requirement, the H570e is the better choice — SourceIT stocks H570e replacement ear pad covers (952-000064).
Does this headset come with a Singapore warranty?
Yes. Every H390 sold by SourceIT comes with 2 years local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice.
