Lenovo has replaced this kit with a Gen 3 equivalent and we are not holding stock of it. The current equivalent is Lenovo Google Meet Series One Large Room Kit Gen 3 (21N60002SB). Gen 3 moves to a 13th Generation processor with DDR5 memory and a faster NVMe drive, and — the part that matters most for a purchase you expect to keep — it carries a later Google end-of-support date, which is explained further down this page. Everything below stays accurate for this kit as Lenovo built it, so you can compare the two. A Complete Google Meet Room, Chosen by Room Size Rather Than by Component
Series One is Google's own Meet hardware, built by Lenovo, and it is bought as a kit rather than assembled from parts. This is the Large Room Kit: Smart Camera XL, an audio bar with an eight-element beamforming array, and the Series One Compute System running ChromeOS to drive it all. Everything is designed to work together out of the carton, and Google manages it as a fleet from the Workspace admin console.
What Makes This Kit Different From Its Siblings
This is the full kit: a second audio bar, two microphone pods and the Smart Camera XL. The add-on bar doubles the speaker coverage down a long room, and two pods extend table pickup. The kits share the same compute system and the same component designs; what changes between them is how much camera, how much audio pickup and how many microphone pods the room needs. They are in the ordering table above, and if you tell us the room we will tell you which one fits.
A One-Inch Sensor, Which Is a Large Sensor for a Conferencing Camera
The Smart Camera XL uses a 1-inch, 20.3-megapixel CMOS sensor at f/2.9 — roughly five times the sensor area of the standard Smart Camera's 1/2.3-inch part. In a conferencing camera that mostly buys you cleaner images in the imperfect lighting real meeting rooms have, rather than more pixels: less noise on the far side of a long table, better handling of a bright window behind someone. Field of view is 90° to 95° horizontal and 90° vertical, and Lenovo publishes the output as up to 1080p at 30 frames per second.

Compatibility & Fit
One thing we could not verify, and would rather say so
Lenovo publishes the Series One kit variants and exactly what is in each one. Lenovo separately publishes the part numbers, and its support database confirms this part number is a genuine, currently supported Series One kit of this generation. What Lenovo does not publish anywhere public is a table connecting the two — the PSREF specification PDF contains no part-number list, and the per-model detail pages do not render outside a browser.
The contents listed on this page are Lenovo's published bill of materials for the variant named in this listing's title. We believe the title is right. But if the difference between, say, a Medium and a Medium Lite decides your purchase — and it should, because one has a microphone pod and the other does not — ask us and we will confirm the part number against the variant with Lenovo before you order.
The Google Meet hardware licence is not included, and you cannot run the kit without it
This is the single most common surprise on Meet hardware, so we want it stated plainly rather than in a footnote. Google's own documentation says: "To use Google Meet hardware, you need to buy and assign a Meet hardware license for each device", and "Licenses are sold for a one-year term from the date of purchase." Elsewhere Google adds: "To use Meet hardware, you need a Google Workspace subscription for your organization and a Meet hardware license for each device."
So the requirements are a Google Workspace subscription for the organisation, plus a per-device Meet hardware licence renewed annually. No Lenovo document states that a licence ships with any Series One kit, and we are not going to imply one does. Budget for the licence as an ongoing cost alongside the hardware, and ask us — we will confirm what your specific order includes before you commit.
How long Google will support it — a published date, and how we read it
Google publishes an End of Meet Support table for every certified Meet device, and it is the most useful number on this page for anyone planning a refresh cycle. The row reading "Meet Compute System - Series One (Intel 10th Gen)" carries the date June 2029. This kit's compute system uses a 10th Generation Intel processor, per Lenovo's PSREF sheet.
We should be straight about the join. Google's table identifies devices by processor generation and does not use Lenovo's "Gen 2" and "Gen 3" names, so matching this kit to that row is our reading of two published facts rather than something either company states in one place. It is a solid reading, and we would rather show you the working than assert a date as though Google had printed it against this part number.
Google's policy wording is worth quoting exactly: "Once Google Meet Rooms Hardware ChromeOS compute boxes reach their End of Support (EoS) date, there's no guarantee a device will continue working. After the EoS date, automatic updates to the OS, applications, or the device itself may cause the device to stop working."
Series One is not discontinued. We looked, because several of these kits are out of stock and it would be easy to assume otherwise. Google's list of upcoming Meet hardware autoupdate expirations names no Series One device; Google's release notes show Series One firmware still shipping in 2026; and Lenovo's PSREF has not withdrawn either generation — which it does mark when it happens, as it has on the Gen 1 page. Lenovo's support database returns these part numbers as currently supported.
Room sizing
Lenovo's Series One flyer publishes room dimensions and participant counts, and this kit's line reads: Large — "4m x 6m to 10m (24-40m2) | 10 to 25 people".
One caveat we owe you: the flyer does not print a generation label. It names an Intel Core i7 processor and carries the four-kit Small / Medium Lite / Medium / Large line-up, which matches this generation rather than the three-kit Gen 1 range — so we are reasonably confident these figures describe these kits. Treat them as planning guidance rather than a guarantee, and send us the room's dimensions, table shape and where people sit and we will size it properly.
What you still need to supply. The display or displays and their mounting, the power and network drops, the Google Workspace subscription and the per-device Meet hardware licence. A room system is an installation rather than a box — tell us the room and we will put a complete bill of materials together with you.

Which kit do I need for my room?
Lenovo's Series One flyer gives this kit as Large — "4m x 6m to 10m (24-40m2) | 10 to 25 people" — though that flyer does not print a generation label, so treat it as planning guidance. What is the difference between the cameras?
The Smart Camera has a 12-megapixel 1/2.3-inch sensor at f/2.8 with a 120° horizontal field of view. The Smart Camera XL has a 20.3-megapixel 1-inch sensor at f/2.9 with a 90° to 95° horizontal field of view. So the XL trades a little width for a much larger sensor, which mostly buys cleaner images in difficult lighting. Lenovo publishes the output of both as up to 1080p at 30 frames per second — note that Google's own announcement calls them 4K cameras, and we publish Lenovo's specification rather than the marketing line. This kit has the Smart Camera XL.
What warranty applies in Singapore?
Lenovo publishes 3-year Premier Support for the Series One kits — consistently across its PSREF sheet, its datasheet and Google's own announcement. Premier Support is a step above standard onsite service: a single point of contact and direct access to advanced technicians.
