The Huawei eKitEngine S380-L4P1T is a multi-service gateway from Huawei's eKit SME range. It combines routing, switching and a built-in wireless access controller (WAC), so one box runs your internet connection, wired LAN and Huawei Wi-Fi APs.
PoE+ to Power Your APs
Four Gigabit LAN ports with PoE+ (50 W budget) can power Huawei access points directly — no separate PoE switch needed for small sites.
Simple Setup with the HUAWEI eKit App
Huawei supports QR-code onboarding in cloud management mode through the HUAWEI eKit app, alongside web and SSH management.

50 W in total across the 4 PoE+ LAN ports — enough for several Huawei eKit APs (the AP362 draws up to 11.2 W, the AP263 up to 12 W).
How many users does it support?
Huawei's eKit product page lists 200 users; Huawei's S380 series datasheet and the distributor price list give 150. Plan on 150 for a conservative design.
Does it have built-in Wi-Fi?
No. The S380 is a wired gateway with a built-in wireless access controller — add Huawei eKit access points such as the AP362 or AP263 for Wi-Fi.
Does it support VPN or SD-WAN?
Huawei's eKit page and S380 datasheet do not list VPN or SD-WAN features. For site-to-site VPN requirements, ask us before ordering.
