Compatibility & Software Support
What It Is Suited To
Offices, schools, retail and branch sites where most wired ports power a device: access points, IP phones, cameras and door controllers. For 2.5GE ports or 802.3bt (90 W) devices, look at the FS-124G-FPOE.
Software & Management
FortiSwitch runs FortiSwitchOS. Connect it to a FortiGate over FortiLink and the FortiGate acts as the switch controller, so ports, VLANs and security policy are managed from the same interface as the firewall. An RJ45 console port is provided for CLI management.
Pairs With
FortiGate firewalls with FortiLink support, such as the FortiGate 70G, 90G and 120G, and FortiAP access points for a complete Fortinet branch network.

What is the difference from the FS-124F-POE?
The FS-124F-POE has PoE+ on ports 1–12 with up to 185 W; the FS-124F-FPOE has PoE+ on all 24 ports with up to 370 W.
Can it be rack-mounted?
Yes. Rack-mount brackets and screws are included in the box.
What are the uplinks?
Four 10 Gbps SFP+ ports (ports 25–28). SFP+ transceivers are not included.
What warranty do I get?
Supplied by SourceIT with local warranty support and a GST invoice. FortiCare support contracts can be added for extended coverage.
