The Fortinet FortiSwitch 108F (FS-108F) is a fanless desktop switch with 8 Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports and 2 Gigabit SFP ports, ideal for small offices, meeting rooms, shop counters and branch cabinets where noise and space matter.
Managed from Your FortiGate with FortiLink
Connect the FS-108F to a FortiGate FortiLink port and the FortiGate becomes the switch controller: ports, VLANs and access policy are configured alongside the firewall, giving you one place to manage and secure the wired network.
Powered by Adapter or PoE
The FS-108F ships with a 12 V DC power adapter, and port 8 supports PoE PD input (802.3af/at), so the switch can also be powered from an upstream PoE switch where there is no convenient power outlet.

Compatibility & Software Support
What It Is Suited To
Small offices, retail counters, meeting rooms and branch sites that need a handful of wired ports without fan noise. For powering access points, IP phones or cameras, choose the FS-108F-POE or FS-108F-FPOE.
Software & Management
FortiSwitch runs FortiSwitchOS. Connect it to a FortiGate over FortiLink and the FortiGate acts as the switch controller, so ports, VLANs and security policy are managed from the same interface as the firewall. A console port is provided for CLI management.
Pairs With
FortiGate firewalls with a FortiLink port, such as the FortiGate 30G, 50G, 70G and 90G, and FortiAP access points for a complete Fortinet branch network.

Does the FortiSwitch 108F provide PoE?
No. Port 8 accepts PoE as a power input (PoE PD), but the FS-108F does not power other devices. Choose the FS-108F-POE or FS-108F-FPOE for PoE output.
Is it fanless?
Yes, the FS-108F is fanless and silent.
Can it be rack-mounted?
It is supplied as a desktop switch with rubber feet; rack-mount brackets are not included.
How is it managed?
Connect it to a FortiGate over FortiLink to manage it from the firewall. The console port provides CLI access.
What warranty do I get?
Supplied by SourceIT with local warranty support and a GST invoice. FortiCare support contracts can be added for extended coverage.
