High-Density Wi-Fi 7 for Demanding Spaces
The Fortinet FortiAP 441K (FAP-441K-S) is Fortinet's high-performance Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) indoor access point with internal antennas. Three 4x4 client radios cover 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz, and a fourth dedicated 2x2 radio scans all three bands, making it suited to busy open-plan floors, lecture halls and meeting-heavy offices.
Up to 21.326 Gbps Combined Radio Rate
Fortinet rates the radios at up to 1.148 Gbps on 2.4 GHz, 8.648 Gbps on 5 GHz (up to 240 MHz channels) and 11.530 Gbps on 6 GHz with 320 MHz channels. Each client radio supports up to 512 clients, and the access point supports up to 24 SSIDs.
Dual 10GE Uplinks with Flexible PoE
Two 10/5/2.5/1 Gigabit RJ45 ports provide multi-gig uplinks. Power it from a single 802.3bt PoE source, or from two 802.3at PoE sources with dual PoE current sharing. Fortinet lists maximum power consumption at 41.7 W.
Managed from Your FortiGate
Like every FortiAP, the 441K is managed by a FortiGate acting as the wireless controller or through Fortinet cloud management, with Bluetooth Low Energy built in.

Compatibility & Software Support
What It Is Suited To
High-density indoor spaces such as open-plan offices, lecture theatres, conference venues and campuses that need 4x4 Wi-Fi 7 on all three bands. For standard offices, the 2x2 FortiAP 231K is a lower-cost option.
Controller & Management
Managed by a FortiGate acting as the wireless controller, or cloud managed. Wi-Fi 7 and 6 GHz operation require a FortiOS / FortiAP firmware release that supports the K-series; ask us to check your FortiGate firmware before ordering.
Powering the Access Point
For full operation plan an 802.3bt PoE source, or connect both LAN ports to 802.3at (PoE+) ports for dual PoE current sharing. A 12 V 4 A DC adapter is available as an option.
