The WorkFit Dual Monitor Kit is an upgrade kit for an Ergotron WorkFit sit-stand desktop converter. It is not a free-standing desk mount — there is no desk clamp or grommet base — so a compatible WorkFit workstation is required.

Maximum Total System Weight

The total system weight is the combined weight of the displays, this kit and any accessories carried on the riser. Stay under the figure for your workstation so the lift mechanism stays balanced.

Display Fit

Check your monitor's weight on its own datasheet before ordering. A display that is lighter than the stated minimum, or heavier than the maximum, will not hold position correctly. Ergotron does not publish a maximum screen size for this kit — weight and the total system limit are the governing figures.

Ultrawide and Curved Displays

Ultrawide and curved panels are usually heavier and further off-centre than a conventional 16:9 screen of the same diagonal. Use the display's published weight, not its diagonal, when checking it against the capacity above.

Is there any difference between the black and white versions of this kit?

No. The two part numbers in this family differ only in finish so the kit can match the colour of your WorkFit workstation. The mechanical specification is identical. This listing is the White finish; the Black finish is listed separately.

Which WorkFit workstations does the WorkFit Dual Monitor Kit fit?

It fits the WorkFit-T, WorkFit-TL, WorkFit-TLE, WorkFit-TX and WorkFit Corner. It is not a standalone monitor mount and cannot be clamped to a plain desk.

What monitor weight does it take?

6–14 lbs (2.72–6.35 kg). Ergotron also sets a maximum total system weight for the whole riser — see the Compatibility & Fit section — which counts the displays, the kit and anything else on the riser together.

Do I need a VESA adapter?

The kit ships with M4 and M6 fasteners for standard VESA display hole patterns. A monitor with no VESA holes — some all-in-ones and consumer panels with proprietary stands — will need a manufacturer adapter plate before it can be mounted.

Single, dual, or monitor-plus-laptop — which kit should I order?

Order the Dual Monitor Kit if you want two screens side by side, the Single LD Monitor Kit or Single HD Monitor Kit for one screen (light-duty and heavy-duty respectively), and the LCD & Laptop Kit if you dock a notebook next to a monitor. All four mount to the same WorkFit riser, so you can change kits later without replacing the workstation.

Does the kit change how the sit-stand desk moves?

No. The WorkFit's own sit-stand travel is unchanged. The kit adds screen height adjustment on top of it, so the display and the keyboard can be set independently — which is what lets you reach a neutral neck and elbow posture in both the seated and standing position.

Is this covered by local warranty in Singapore?

Yes. Every Ergotron WorkFit Dual Monitor Kit sold by SourceIT comes with local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice; Ergotron backs the WorkFit Dual Monitor Kit with a 5-year manufacturer warranty.
