The XL version of Ergotron's WM Low Profile Wall Mount extends the horizontal hole-pattern range to 800 mm — the specification that separates it from the standard 60-604-003 and the reason to choose it for the 75", 85" and larger commercial panels whose fixing points sit wider than 600 mm apart.
175 lb (79.4 kg) Capacity at a 1.25" (32 mm) Profile
Despite the larger footprint, the XL keeps the same 175 lb (79.4 kg) load rating and the same 1.25" (32 mm) depth from wall. A very large panel still sits flush enough to read as architecture rather than equipment — useful in lobbies, boardrooms and showrooms where the display is on show as much as the content.
16" or 24" Stud Spacing, or Solid Concrete
Ergotron's guide for this model documents solid wood studs at either 16" or 24" (406 mm or 610 mm) on centre, or solid concrete at 3,000 psi with a minimum 4" (102 mm) material thickness. The wider stud option matters on large panels, where the fixing points rarely line up neatly with a single stud spacing.

Compatibility & Fit
The XL exists for one reason: display hole patterns wider than 600 mm. It accepts 100–800 mm horizontally and 100–450 mm vertically to VESA MIS-D/E/F, and carries up to 175 lb (79.4 kg). Ergotron recommends it for panels of 42" and larger and publishes no upper screen-size limit — the governing figures are the hole pattern and the weight.
If your panel's holes fall within 600 mm horizontally, the standard WM Low Profile Wall Mount (60-604-003) does the same job for less. Check the panel's mounting pattern on its own datasheet before ordering — screen size is a poor predictor of hole spacing on large-format displays.
Single display, fixed — no tilt or pan — so set the height for the seated or standing audience before drilling. Ultrawide and curved panels mount normally inside the pattern and weight limits. On the wall side, this model supports wood studs at either 16" or 24" on centre, or solid concrete at least 4" thick. Steel-stud walls require the separate Steel Stud Wall Mounting Kit (60-591-003).
