Every figure above is taken from Ergotron’s official StyleView 10 Carts datasheet (literature date 08.22.2022) and its SV10 installation guide. Minimum and maximum worksurface heights, total cart load capacity, an itemised carton contents list, exact caster count and disinfectant compatibility are not published by Ergotron for these part numbers and have been omitted rather than estimated. Specifications from the powered StyleView SV4x carts have deliberately not been carried across — the SV10 is a non-powered cart with no drawers and no battery.

Mounting: none required. The SV10 is a self-contained mobile cart on a 19 in x 19 in (48.3 x 48.3 cm) base. There is no desk clamp, no grommet, no wall fixing and no pole to install, so there is no desk thickness to check and nothing to drill — which is precisely why it works in Singapore wards, clinics and consultation rooms where fixed installation is not practical.

Sit or stand at the same cart. Ergotron specifies 15 in (38.1 cm) of worksurface height adjustment on a mechanical lift engine, with an integrated hand-brake that locks the platform height for a stable working surface. Release the brake fully before adjusting height — that is Ergotron’s own instruction, and the most common cause of avoidable damage on these carts. Ergotron does not publish absolute minimum and maximum worksurface heights for the SV10, so we do not quote them; if a specific working height is critical to your specification, ask SourceIT to confirm with Ergotron before you order.

No drawers, no battery. This is worth stating plainly because it is the most common misconception about the SV10 range. Ergotron publishes no drawers, no locking storage compartment and no integrated power system for any SV10 cart — those belong to the larger, powered StyleView SV4x medical carts. What the SV10 does have is an integrated T-slot that accepts StyleView accessories and add-on power solutions, plus an integrated scanner holder fitted as standard. If you need on-board battery power, medication drawers or auto-locking storage, specify an SV4x cart instead and SourceIT will quote it.

Mobility. Dual-wheel 3 in (7.6 cm) rubber casters, two of which can be locked. The whole cart weighs 33 lbs (15 kg), which is light enough for one person to reposition across a ward without help — a meaningful difference over a full-size powered cart when the round involves lifts and door thresholds.

Device fit is tight on weight — check it first. Ergotron specifies a typical screen size of up to 12 in and a capacity of 2.5 lbs (1.1 kg). That is sized for a tablet, not a laptop or a 2-in-1 with a keyboard base attached. Weigh the device including its case and any attached keyboard cover before ordering — a protective ruggedised case alone can take a tablet past the limit.

VESA MIS-D. The mount uses a VESA MIS-D interface, so the tablet needs a MIS-D-compatible holder or case. Most tablets have no VESA holes of their own, so a VESA tablet enclosure is normally required — send SourceIT your tablet model and we will confirm what is needed. Tilt is 128°, and the tablet installs in either landscape or portrait.

Heavier devices need a different SV10. If your device exceeds 2.5 lbs (1.1 kg), specify the StyleView S-Tablet Cart SV10 (SV10-1800-0) at 8 lbs (3.6 kg) for Microsoft Surface devices, or the StyleView Laptop Cart SV10 (SV10-1100-0) at 10 lbs (4.5 kg) for a notebook. All three share the same base, lift and warranty.

In the box: Ergotron does not publish a full itemised carton list for the SV10 Tablet Cart. Ergotron confirms as part of the product the cart with its lift engine and hand-brake, the VESA MIS-D tablet mount and an integrated scanner holder. A VESA tablet holder or enclosure for your specific device is normally required and is not included. Ask SourceIT to confirm current carton contents before ordering in quantity.

How far does the screen tilt?
128°, and the tablet can be installed in landscape or portrait mode — enough range to move between a working angle for the clinician and a presenting angle for the patient without changing the cart height.

Can I use a keyboard with it?
Yes. Ergotron notes the 18 in x 12.5 in (45.7 x 31.8 cm) worksurface provides a convenient platform for a keyboard. Note this is a worksurface, not a dedicated sliding keyboard tray — Ergotron publishes no keyboard tray for the SV10.

How does it compare with the other SV10 carts?
All three share the same 15 in (38.1 cm) lift, 19 in square base, 33 lbs (15 kg) weight and 7-year warranty. This Tablet Cart is the only one with a VESA MIS-D mount and 128° tilt, but has the lowest capacity at 2.5 lbs (1.1 kg). The S-Tablet Cart (SV10-1800-0) takes 8 lbs (3.6 kg) on a larger 23 in x 17 in worksurface with embedded magnets; the Laptop Cart (SV10-1100-0) takes 10 lbs (4.5 kg) with a laptop bracket.

Does the SV10 have drawers or a battery?
No. Ergotron publishes no drawers, no locking storage compartment and no integrated power system for any SV10 cart — it is a non-powered, light-duty cart. Those features belong to the larger powered StyleView SV4x range.
