Ergotron LX Wall Mount System White
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Ergotron LX Wall Mount System White (45-551-216) - 10 Years Local Warranty
A Complete Workstation on a Single Wall Track
The Ergotron LX Wall Mount System (45-551-216) brings a monitor arm, a keyboard arm together on one 34″ wall track — a self-contained workstation that occupies no desk and no floor. The two arms adjust independently, so the display sits at eye level while the keyboard sits at elbow height, which is the combination that actually produces a neutral working posture.
Extends to the User, Then Folds Within Inches of the Wall
The monitor arm reaches 25.7″ (653 mm) and the keyboard arm 35″ (889 mm). When not in use the keyboard folds to within 3.5″ (9 cm) of the wall and the monitor arm back to 5.3″ (13 cm). For Singapore clinics, laboratories, retail back-of-house and any high-traffic corridor position, that compact parked profile is the point of a wall system rather than a trolley.
Effortless Independent Lift, Tilt and Pan
Ergotron's design gives multiple points of adjustment on both arms, so lift, tilt and pan of the display and the keyboard tray happen without tools and without asking the next user to fight a stiff joint. The back-tilt keyboard tray protects wrists from the strain of typing on a flat or positively angled surface — a small geometric detail that carries most of the ergonomic benefit in sustained data-entry work.
Integrated Cable Management and Cable Management
The white system ships without a CPU holder, so you can specify the mount that matches your hardware — a small CPU holder, a vertical universal holder or a thin-client mount, all ordered separately and listed below. Integrated cable management and cable channels organise and route cords out of sight, keeping the finished installation clean.
Tested to 10,000 Cycles and Backed for Ten Years
Ergotron states the system is built for thousands of movements, having passed a 10,000-cycle test, and backs it with a 10-year manufacturer warranty. For a shared workstation that will be readjusted several times a day for a decade, cycle life is the specification that matters most. SourceIT Pte Ltd supplies the system with local Singapore warranty support and a GST invoice.

Compatibility & Fit
VESA fit. Ergotron specifies this system as VESA MIS-D. It does not publish the hole spacing in millimetres for this part number, so if your display uses an unusual pattern, confirm with SourceIT before ordering rather than assuming a 75 × 75 or 100 × 100 mm fit.
Display weight and size. Ergotron rates the display arm at ≤ 7–25 lbs (3.2–11.3 kg) for screens up to 32″. Note Ergotron's own caveat: a monitor deeper than 2.5″ (64 mm) may reduce the usable capacity, so a thick or deeply curved panel should be checked against its actual weight rather than the headline figure. Ergotron's datasheet and its dimensional drawing for this white system disagree on the pan and rotation figures, so SourceIT omits both rather than publish an unverified number — contact us if the exact swivel range is critical to your specification.
Ultrawide and curved displays. The published limit is weight and diagonal, not aspect ratio. An ultrawide within the weight ceiling and carrying a supported VESA pattern will mount, but a wide panel on an extended arm loads the wall track asymmetrically — centre it carefully and set the arm tension for the real display weight at installation.
Number of screens. One display. This system is not a dual-monitor solution.
Keyboard fit. The tray is rated 0–5 lbs (0–2.3 kg) — a keyboard and mouse, not a laptop or a stack of files. Ergotron publishes tray dimensions of 21.75″ × 12.6″ (552 × 320 mm) for this white system.
CPU / computer fit. No CPU holder is included with the white system. Ergotron lists a small CPU holder (80-063-216), a vertical universal CPU holder (97-468-216) and a thin-client mount (80-107-216) as separate options; the equivalents SourceIT stocks are linked in the ordering section below.
Wall type and wall track — important in Singapore. The system mounts on a single Ergotron Wall Track 34″ (864 mm) long, with mounting holes at 8″ (203 mm) intervals. Ergotron's installation guide specifies two substrates: solid concrete, drilled Ø 3/8″ (10 mm), and a wood stud, drilled Ø 3/16″ (5 mm). Stud fixing uses M8 × 80 mm or 5/16″ × 3″ bolts with flat washers in two places; the arms then attach to the track with #10-24 × 5/8″ button-head cap screws in four places. Reinforced concrete and solid block walls, standard across Singapore commercial buildings, HDB flats and condominiums, suit the concrete method. A plasterboard partition without structural backing is not a suitable substrate for a system of this weight. SourceIT can advise on the mounting point before you order.
Reconfigurable after installation. Because both arms clamp to the wall track rather than directly to the wall, you can loosen the screws and slide an arm to a new height or position without drilling again — useful where the same bay is used by different people or the layout is still settling.

Frequently Asked Questions — Ergotron LX Wall Mount System
What is the difference between the versions of the LX Wall Mount System?
The CPU holder and the amount of height adjustment. 45-247-026 (medium CPU holder, silver) and 45-253-026 (small CPU holder, black) are identical apart from the bundled holder. 45-551-216 is the white finish and ships with no CPU holder at all. 45-358-026 is the sit-stand version: both its arms lift 20″ (50.8 cm) instead of 13″ (33 cm) and reach further. All four carry the same 10-year warranty.
What size and weight of monitor does it take?
Ergotron rates the display arm at ≤ 7–25 lbs (3.2–11.3 kg) for screens up to 32″. A monitor deeper than 2.5″ (64 mm) may reduce the usable capacity.
Can it hold two monitors?
No — the system carries one display, one keyboard tray. It is not a dual-monitor solution.
Does it include a worksurface or shelf?
No. None of the LX Wall Mount Systems includes a worksurface — the keyboard arm carries a keyboard tray only. If you need a writing surface at the wall, that is a different Ergotron product family; contact SourceIT and we will specify it.
What wall can it be fitted to, and can I move the arms later?
Ergotron approves solid concrete (Ø 3/8″ / 10 mm holes) or a wood stud (Ø 3/16″ / 5 mm), fixed with M8 × 80 mm or 5/16″ × 3″ bolts. Concrete and solid block are standard in Singapore and suit the system; plasterboard partitions do not, without structural backing. Because both arms clamp to the 34″ wall track, you can loosen the screws and slide an arm to a new position later without drilling the wall again.
Do I need a VESA adapter?
Ergotron specifies this system as VESA MIS-D. It does not publish the hole spacing in millimetres for this part number, so if your display uses an unusual pattern, confirm with SourceIT before ordering rather than assuming a 75 × 75 or 100 × 100 mm fit. A display with no VESA holes at all — some all-in-ones and consumer TVs — needs its manufacturer's own adapter plate, which is not supplied.
Is this suitable for sit-stand working?
This model gives 13″ (33 cm) of travel, which covers height differences between users and modest posture change but is not a full sit-stand range. For true sit-stand working choose the LX Sit-Stand Wall Mount System (45-358-026), where both arms travel 20″ (50.8 cm).
Can I buy just the monitor arm or just the keyboard arm?
Yes. The individual components are stocked separately — see the component table in the ordering section above. Buying the system is usually the better value where you need both arms plus the track.
Is the Ergotron LX Wall Mount System covered by warranty in Singapore?
Yes. Every Ergotron LX Wall Mount System sold by SourceIT comes with local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice; Ergotron backs the LX Wall Mount System with a 10-year manufacturer warranty.
