Ergotron's description: minimise downtime with a dependable hot-swap battery that easily works with Ergotron carts. At 245 Wh and 6.7 lb (3 kg), the LiFeKinnex pack is carried to the cart rather than the cart being wheeled to a charger — the difference between a cart out of service for hours and one out of service for the time it takes to swap a pack.
Lithium Iron Phosphate, Not Lithium Ion
Ergotron states the chemistry plainly and gives the reason: LiFePO4 supports about twice as many cycles as lithium ion batteries. For a cart fleet charged daily for years, cycle life is the specification that determines replacement cost, and LiFePO4 is also the chemistry chosen in clinical settings for its thermal stability.

Ergotron lists compatibility as SV 4X documentation and medication delivery carts, SV 10 light-duty documentation carts, CareFit Slim laptop and LCD carts, and Neo-Flex laptop and LCD carts. One battery platform across a mixed estate means one spares pool rather than four.

Compatibility & Fit
The LiFeKinnex battery is the energy store of a three-part system: the battery, a Smart Battery Dock on the cart, and a 4-Bay Charger in the utility room. Buying the battery alone gives you nothing to charge it in or mount it to, so for Singapore order the regional parts — dock 98-251 and charger 98-261 — at the same time.
Ergotron's published compatibility spans SV 4X documentation and medication carts, SV 10 light-duty documentation carts, CareFit Slim laptop and LCD carts and Neo-Flex laptop and LCD carts. Note that "SV 4X" is Ergotron's family label — it does not resolve the individual SV41 / SV42 / SV43 / SV44 models, so send us your cart part numbers if you need model-level certainty.
For carts that did not ship with LiFeKinnex power, Ergotron sells retrofit brackets: the Side-Mount Bracket Kit (98-370) and, for third-party GCX carts, the Track-Mount Kit (98-410). To secure a pack against departmental drift, the Security Bracket and Lock Kit (98-373) ships with two keys.
Shipping note: this is a lithium battery carrying UN/DOT 38.3 transport certification, which makes it a regulated shipment. Talk to us about delivery arrangements for multi-pack orders rather than assuming standard courier terms.
