Specifications above are taken from the official Ergotron CareFit Pro datasheet and user guide. Ergotron does not publish a battery runtime figure, a charge time, a VESA pattern, a cart weight or shipping dimensions for this model, so none of those are stated here. The 9.1 kg (20 lbs) figure is a display weight limit, not a total cart load capacity.

The CareFit Pro carries a display up to 27 inches or 9.1 kg (20 lbs), which covers the clinical all-in-one and monitor-plus-micro-PC builds used across most Singapore healthcare EMR deployments. Note that this is a display limit; Ergotron does not publish a whole-cart load rating for this model, and any figure quoted as one elsewhere is a relabelled screen limit.

Ergotron does not publish a VESA mounting pattern for the CareFit Pro. If you are mounting a specific third-party display rather than a supplied all-in-one, contact SourceIT before ordering and we will confirm fit with the distributor rather than guess.

This is a mobile cart — no desk clamp, grommet or wall bracket applies. It rolls on four locking, three-function 12.7 cm (5 in) dual-wheel casters and occupies a 50.8 x 53.3 cm base. The worksurface starts at 35.6 x 40.6 cm and expands to 35.6 x 58.4 cm when more room is needed for consumables or a second device.

Height adjusts through 56 cm of sit-to-stand travel within a 68.6 cm total lift, plus 12.7 cm of independent monitor adjustment so the screen can be set to eye level separately from the keyboard. The keyboard tray slides out, tilts, and supports right- or left-hand mousing, so the cart suits a mixed shift rota without reconfiguration.

Cleaning: Ergotron approves quaternary ammonia compounds, ammonia-enzyme cleaners, bleach and alcohol solutions — the agents in normal use under Singapore infection-control protocols. Do not immerse the cart; wipe cleaner off immediately with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.

Ergotron does not publish a formal in-the-box list for the CareFit Pro on its datasheet or user guide. The cart ships as a complete assembly with the integrated 320 Wh LiFe battery, slide-out tilting keyboard tray and casters fitted. The -2 suffix denotes the EU configuration and -3 covers the UK, Hong Kong and Singapore. For Singapore deployments the -3 SKU is the correct part number. Ergotron's documentation lists the suffixes by territory but does not itemise what differs between them beyond the regional designation, so confirm the mains cord and plug specification with SourceIT at the time of order.

How does the Constant Force lift work?
Ergotron's patented Constant Force lift counterbalances the mounted load so the worksurface moves at a touch and holds position anywhere in its travel via an infinite brake mechanism. Lift strength is user-adjustable: increase it if the cart will not stay up under a heavy load, decrease it if it will not stay down under a light one.

Should I choose the Constant Force or the electric lift version?
Both give the same 56 cm of sit-to-stand adjustment, the same 68.6 cm total lift and the same worksurface and footprint. Constant Force is raised by hand and is mechanically simpler, with fewer electronic components to service. The electric lift C52-2201-2 moves on push-and-hold buttons and adds a touchscreen interface showing battery charge and estimated runtime, which tends to suit shared carts and heavier configurations.

What battery does it use, and how long does it run?
The cart has an integrated 320 Wh LiFe (lithium iron phosphate) battery fitted as standard, with an optional 245 Wh LiFeKinnex Power System available. Ergotron does not publish a runtime or charge-time figure for the integrated battery, so we do not quote one — runtime depends entirely on the connected devices. Which part number do I order for Singapore?
The -3 suffix, which Ergotron scopes to the UK, Hong Kong and Singapore. The -2 suffix is the EU configuration. Confirm the mains cord and plug specification with SourceIT at the time of order.

Can I add drawers later, or do I choose the configuration up front?
Ergotron sells the CareFit Pro in several drawer configurations under distinct part numbers, and the datasheet describes the cart as adaptable by adding drawers and accessories. The base you are viewing here is the no-drawer configuration. Speak to SourceIT about which drawer configuration matches your workflow, and about optional locking drawers where Imprivata identity and access management is in use.

How do we clean it between patients?

Anything we should know about looking after the battery?
Two things worth flagging, because they affect cover. Ergotron voids battery warranty on a fully charged battery left unused for more than three consecutive months, and on a fully discharged battery left unused for more than three consecutive days. Recharge at least every 30 days in storage, and note that the cart does not charge while switched off.

Is there a local Singapore warranty?
Yes. Every Ergotron CareFit Pro sold by SourceIT comes with local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice.
