PrecisionCore Micro TFP Printhead
The larger 2.64" printheads deliver increased productivity from faster speed coupled with industry-leading precise droplet formation. Using variable-sized droplets technology, businesses expect crisp line accuracy, sharp text and vibrant photo quality in prints.
Self-Encrypting SSD
The self-encrypting SSD delivers improved performance handling large print data. The 960GB additional storage memory enables PC-less production printing with data secured by AES-256 and protected by a TPM chip. Password protection for specific folders in built-in storage is optional.
Improved Media Handling
Dual-roll capability reduces operator workload and maximizes productivity. Automatic selection of different media types and sizes functions available. The second reel operates as a take-up reel for unattended non-stop operation. Automatic roll feed and paper edge detection sensor enable easy paper loading.
Outstanding Print Quality and Performance
UltraChrome XD3 inks with new red ink produce rich, vivid colours, especially for POP materials. Six colours including gamut-expanding red ink support technical drawings to graphics and renderings. Water, smudge and fade-resistant pigment ink produces durable, vibrant, long-lasting prints. Ink cartridges available in three different capacities.
Improved Performance with Adobe PostScript
Prints deliver improved accuracy for transparent and overprint layers, plus faster PDF and PS output processing. Supports EPS, PDF, PS, TIFF, JPEG and Cals-G4 data.
Full Frontal Operation Design
Intuitive front loading improves operator convenience. Non-stop productivity achieved through high-capacity ink cartridges, consumables storage, and dual rollers. Operators monitor printer status via 4.3" LCD touch screen and print directly from USB storage devices.
Print Management
Epson Print Admin centralizes print management creating secure printing/scanning environments through user authentication. Document distribution, pull printing, rules and quota setting enable cost savings.
