Core Ultra with a Built-in NPU
The Dell Slim ECS1250 runs an Intel Core Ultra 5 225 (10 cores, up to 4.9 GHz) on the Intel Q870 platform with a built-in NPU for AI-accelerated features, 16GB of DDR5-5600 memory and a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD.
Two Displays and Front USB-C
Rear HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 drive two monitors, while a front USB-C port, seven more USB ports, an optional SD card reader and 1 GbE cover peripherals and networking.
Slim 8.5-Litre Chassis, Still Upgradeable
At 8.5 litres and 95 mm wide, the slim chassis fits under monitors and on crowded desks, yet keeps a half-height PCIe x16 slot, two PCIe x1 slots, a 3.5-inch drive bay and a second memory slot (up to 64 GB DDR5).

How many monitors can I connect?
Two, via the rear HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 outputs.
Is the memory DDR4 or DDR5?
DDR5 at 5600 MT/s. The desktop has two UDIMM slots and takes up to 64 GB.
Can I add a graphics card?
Only a half-height (low-profile) card fits the PCIe x16 slot, and the fitted PSU is 180 W — check power needs with SourceIT before adding a card.
Does the Core Ultra 5 225 have an NPU?
Yes, Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) processors include a built-in NPU. Dell does not publish a TOPS figure for the Core Ultra 5 225 on this model.
How is it different from the Dell Tower ECT1250?
The Dell Slim is an 8.5-litre, 95 mm-wide chassis with half-height slots; the Dell Tower is a 14.6-litre tower with full-height PCIe slots and a 360 W PSU option.
