The MA320UG sits at the top of BenQ's Mac-ready MA family. It pairs a 31.5-inch 4K UHD Nano Gloss panel with Thunderbolt 4 docking and a 120 Hz refresh rate, so macOS animation, trackpad scrolling and pointer movement look as fluid on the external screen as they do on a MacBook's own ProMotion display. Colour covers 99% sRGB and 98% Display P3 over 1.07 billion colours, with M-book and Display P3 modes so images keep their character when they move from the notebook to the big panel.
One Thunderbolt 4 Cable: 4K Video, 96W Charging and Daisy-Chain Out
A single Thunderbolt 4 cable, supplied in the box, carries 4K display, 40 Gbps of data and 96W of Power Delivery to a MacBook Pro, Mac Studio or Mac mini. A second Thunderbolt 4 port runs downstream for a daisy-chained display or a Thunderbolt SSD and supplies 15W, while a separate USB-C port gives 35W for an iPad or phone. Two HDMI 2.1 inputs stay free for a console or a second machine — one connector for the Mac, one for everything else.
Nano Gloss Panel with 2000:1 Native Contrast
Nano Gloss holds the saturated, high-contrast look Mac users expect from a glossy screen while cutting the mirror reflections plain glass gives. Native contrast is 2000:1 — high for an IPS panel — at 450 nits with HDR10 support, so dark interface panels, graded footage and shadow detail keep their separation rather than greying out. For a bright, uncontrolled office, the Nano Matte MA320U is the anti-glare alternative in the same size.
150 mm Stand Travel, Auto Pivot and Display Pilot 2
The stand travels 150 mm in height, tilts -5 to 20 degrees, swivels 15 degrees each way and pivots 90 degrees, with Auto Pivot rotating the image as the panel turns — useful for code, long documents and portrait layouts. VESA 100 x 100 mm mounting takes a monitor arm where desk depth is limited. Display Pilot 2 adds desktop partitioning, hotkey control and ICCsync so the macOS colour profile follows the monitor's active colour mode.

Mac connection
A Thunderbolt 4 cable is supplied for a MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Mac mini or Mac Studio: one lead carries 4K video at 120 Hz, 40 Gbps data and 96W of charging. Use the Thunderbolt input where the full 120 Hz refresh rate matters.
Daisy-chaining and peripherals
The downstream Thunderbolt 4 port carries a second display or Thunderbolt storage from the same host connection and supplies 15W; a separate USB-C port provides 35W for charging an iPad or phone.

What does the UG suffix mean, and how does it differ from UP and U?
