Active DisplayPort to HDMI Conversion
The VC986 uses an advanced active chip, so it converts reliably even when the DisplayPort source does not support dual-mode DisplayPort (DP++) – common on workstation and multi-display graphics cards.
4K UHD at 30Hz, Full HD at 60Hz
Supports 3840 x 2160 @ 30Hz and up to 1920 x 1200 @ 60Hz. Note that 4K output is limited to 30Hz; for 4K at 60Hz choose the VC986B True 4K model.
AMD Eyefinity Compatible
Compatible with AMD Eyefinity multi-display technology, making it a good fit for multi-monitor setups from one graphics card.
Audio and Plug-and-Play
Audio is carried over HDMI, and no drivers are needed. Copper foil shielding protects the signal.

No. It supports 4K at 30Hz (3840 x 2160 @ 30Hz) and 1920 x 1200 at 60Hz. For 4K at 60Hz, choose the VC986B.
