Pull the Audio Out of HDMI
The VC881 extracts the audio stream from an HDMI signal and outputs it as Toslink optical (S/PDIF), coaxial or RCA stereo, so you can feed a sound bar, amplifier or mixer while the video continues to the display.
HDMI or DVI In, HDMI Out
Choose HDMI-to-HDMI or DVI-to-HDMI mode with a pushbutton. HDMI input supports up to 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz and DVI up to 1920 x 1200. A 3.5 mm audio input lets you add sound to a DVI source.
ARC Support
The HDMI output supports Audio Return Channel, and the unit is HDMI 1.4 (3D, Deep Color, 4K) and HDCP 1.4 compliant.
Simple and Upgradable
Pushbutton mode selection, firmware upgradability and a compact metal housing for AV racks and equipment cabinets.
