Local Console and Remote Access in 1U
The KL1108VN combines a 19" LCD, keyboard and touchpad with an 8-port Cat 5 KVM switch and KVM over IP. One local user at the rack and one remote user over the network can work independently.
Cat 5 Cabling with ATEN Adapters
Each server connects over Cat 5e/6 cable through an ATEN KA7xxx KVM adapter, sold separately. Adapters are available for USB, PS/2, VGA, DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort, Sun legacy and serial devices. Cascade to control up to 128 computers.
Secure Remote Management
Remote users get up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz through the HTML5 WebClient with TLS 1.3 encryption and RSA 2048-bit certificates. RADIUS, LDAP, LDAPS and Active Directory authentication are supported, and a modem port gives out-of-band BIOS-level access when the network is down.
Virtual Media and Dual LAN
Virtual media mounts USB storage, DVD/CD drives or ISO images for OS patching and software installs, and smart card/CAC readers are supported. Dual Gigabit LAN ports and an independently retractable LCD and keyboard round it out.
