ASUSTOR Lockerstor 8 AS6508T 8-Bay NAS - 3 Years Warranty

The LOCKERSTOR 8 (AS6508T) is a 8-bay desktop NAS for small and medium businesses that need 10-Gigabit networking out of the box. It pairs an Intel Atom C3538 quad-core server-class CPU and 8GB DDR4 (up to 64GB) with dual Intel 10GbE and dual 2.5GbE ports, plus two M.2 slots for SSD caching. It runs ASUSTOR ADM and carries a 3-year warranty.

Dual 10GbE + dual 2.5GbE

Two Intel 10-Gigabit ports (up to 20Gbps with link aggregation) and two Realtek 2.5-Gigabit ports (up to 5Gbps aggregated); a managed multi-speed switch is needed for aggregation.

M.2 SSD caching

Two M.2 slots (PCIe 3.0 x2) accept 2280 NVMe or 2280/2260/2242 SATA SSDs; ASUSTOR says NVMe caching can raise performance by up to 60%.

Expandable to 64GB DDR4

Ships with 8GB DDR4-2133 in one of two SO-DIMM slots and can be upgraded to 64GB (2 x 32GB) by opening the chassis.
