The ASUSTOR FLASHSTOR 6 Gen2 (FS6806X) is a compact all-flash NAS with 6 M.2 2280 NVMe SSD slots, built on the AMD Ryzen Embedded V3C14 with DDR5 memory, PCIe 4.0, 10GbE and USB4. It is aimed at creators and businesses that need fast, low-noise SSD storage in a small footprint.
6 M.2 NVMe slots with PCIe 4.0
6 M.2 2280 NVMe slots (PCIe 4.0: 1 x x4, 3 x x2, 2 x x1) fit in a 48.3 x 308.26 x 193 mm chassis with a quiet cooling design.
Ryzen Embedded with ECC DDR5
A quad-core AMD Ryzen Embedded V3C14 (up to 3.8 GHz) supports ECC DDR5 memory up to 64 GB. ASUSTOR lab figures (Windows sequential, RAID 5, 10GbE): 1179 MB/s read and 1181 MB/s write; results may vary.
10GbE and USB4
A 10GbE port and two USB4 ports (up to 40 Gbps per port) provide fast connectivity; hard drives can be added through an AS5004U expansion unit on the USB ports.

What drives does it take?
Only M.2 2280 NVMe SSDs, in 6 slots. It has no 2.5"/3.5" bays; hard drives can be added via ASUSTOR USB expansion units. Drives are not included.
Can I upgrade the memory?
It ships with 8 GB DDR5-4800 (1 x 8 GB) in one of two SO-DIMM slots and supports up to 64 GB. ECC is supported but is disabled if non-ECC memory is installed or mixed.
