The AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D combines 8 Zen 3 cores and 16 threads with AMD 3D V-Cache technology, giving the processor 96 MB of L3 cache. Games and other latency-sensitive workloads keep more of their data on-chip, which is why AMD builds its X3D parts for gaming.
AM4 Platform
It installs in AM4 motherboards (X570, X470, B550, B450, A520) and supports 2-channel DDR4 UDIMM memory up to 128 GB, with PCIe 4.0 connectivity (20 usable lanes from the CPU). Base clock is 3.4 GHz, boost reaches up to 4.5 GHz, and default TDP is 105 W.
Discrete Graphics Required
