Compact Line-Interactive Protection for Desks and Small Offices
The Vertiv™ Liebert® PSA itON PSA650-SOHO is a 650 VA / 390 W line-interactive UPS for desktop PCs, professional workstations, laptops, printers, point-of-sale terminals and small routers, bridges and hubs — the applications Vertiv lists for the itON-SOHO range.
When mains fails it switches to battery in typically 2–6 ms (10 ms maximum) and supplies a simulated sine wave at nominal voltage ±10%, giving you time to save work and shut down cleanly.
Built-in Boost and Buck AVR
The input window is 162–290 VAC. Within it, the built-in boost and buck automatic voltage regulation corrects high and low voltage without using valuable battery power, so brown-outs and swells do not drain the battery. The UPS auto-restarts when AC power returns, and a cold-start function lets you switch it on from battery during an outage.
Universal Sockets with Room for Large Plugs
Output is on 3 universal sockets, spaced to leave room for large power plugs and adapters, so mixed equipment can plug in without extra adapters in most cases. A USB charging port (5.0 V / 1.0 A) can top up a phone or other USB-powered device. Fuse protection and discharge, overload and overcharge protection are built in.
Simple Status at a Glance
Three front LEDs show normal mode (green), battery mode (yellow) and fault or low battery (red), with an audible alarm every 10 seconds on battery, every second at low battery, every 0.5 second on overload and continuously on a fault. Vertiv rates it at less than 40 dB at 1 metre.

What It Is Suited To
A desktop PC or workstation with monitor, a small home-office router and modem, or a POS terminal. Keep the total continuous load under 390 W; runtime is short (Vertiv publishes 15 min at 25% load and 4 min at 50% load), so the UPS is intended to ride through brief outages and allow a safe shutdown.

The 3 universal sockets are designed to accept a range of plug types, with space for large plugs. If you are unsure about a particular plug, ask us before ordering.
Monitoring and Software
Vertiv does not publish a communication port or shutdown software for the itON-SOHO. The USB port on this model is for charging only. If you need USB/serial monitoring and automatic shutdown, look at the Vertiv Liebert GXE3 range — ask us.
