The PG2400P KIT is two G.hn2400 passthrough powerline adapters that carry a wired network over existing electrical wiring at up to 1428 Mbps and up to 300 metres. Each adapter has two Gigabit Ethernet ports and a passthrough power socket, and TP-Link's Power Saving mode cuts energy use by up to 85% when connected devices are off.

G.hn MIMO Powerline at 1428 Mbps

G.hn MIMO is TP-Link's newer powerline standard, rated up to 1428 Mbps over existing wiring for up to 300 m. It works with all routers and G.hn adapters but is not compatible with HomePlug AV/AV2 adapters, so it does not mix with older TL-PA or TL-WPA units.

Two Gigabit Ports on Each Adapter

With 2 + 2 Gigabit ports across the kit, one adapter can take two feeds from the router and the far adapter can serve two wired devices — a smart TV and a console, or a desktop and a NAS — without a separate switch.

Passthrough Socket and Power Saving

Each adapter has an integrated power socket so the wall outlet remains usable for other equipment. Power Saving mode reduces consumption by up to 85% when attached devices are disconnected or switched off; actual savings vary. Maximum draw is 6.32 W.

Plug and Play Pairing

The adapters pair out of the box; a Pair/Reset button re-pairs or adds adapters later, and Powerline and Ethernet LEDs show link status. The tpPLC utility is available on TP-Link's download page for managing the network from a PC.
