The NE200-Outdoor is an IP66-rated 5G outdoor unit that mounts on a pole, wall or window where the cellular signal is strongest, then feeds the connection indoors over a single 2.5 Gbps PoE/LAN port. TP-Link rates it at up to 4.67 Gbps 5G download and 1.46 Gbps upload, with LTE-Advanced Cat19 fallback at up to 1.6 Gbps, and supplies a 10-metre Ethernet cable, PoE adapter and mounting kits in the box.

5G download reaches up to 4.67 Gbps and upload up to 1.46 Gbps across N1/N3/N5/N7/N8/N20/N28/N38/N40/N41/N77/N78; 4G reaches up to 1.6 Gbps down and 211 Mbps up. Mounting the unit outdoors, away from walls and glazing, is the practical way to get closer to those figures than an indoor router can.

IP66 Enclosure with Surge and ESD Protection

The housing is rated IP66 dustproof and waterproof, though TP-Link notes it is not designed for prolonged immersion or high-pressure water jets. Tested per CE standards, lightning/surge protection is 2 kV differential mode and 4 kV common mode, and ESD protection is 4 kV contact and 8 kV air. A grounding terminal is included. Operating range is -30°C to 50°C.

One 2.5 Gbps PoE Port, No Wi-Fi Radio

Power and data share one 2.5 Gbps PoE/LAN port, so a single cable runs indoors. The NE200-Outdoor has no Wi-Fi of its own — connect it to an existing router, mesh system or switch, either as a 5G router or in IP Passthrough mode so the indoor router takes the public address. It is powered by the included PoE adapter or by 802.3af PoE.

Pole, Wall or Window Mounting

Window, pole and wall mounting kits are all in the box, together with a 10-metre RJ45 cable. Management is local via web browser or remote, with reboot scheduling, DDNS, port forwarding and PPTP/IPSec/OpenVPN VPN server support.
