The case passes MIL-STD 810G drop testing to 1.2m/4ft, using a patented custom-molded tray with reinforced corner bumpers to absorb impact where iPads are most commonly damaged — the corners and edges. This is protection sized for a folio case, not a rugged brick, so it stays practical for daily carry.

Targus builds the Pro-Tek Clear panel to be impact-resistant and scratch-resistant for normal daily handling, but like any clear polycarbonate panel it is not scratch-proof against abrasive surfaces.
Does the case block the camera, microphone or speakers?
No. Cut-outs are precision-aligned to the iPad Pro 11-inch (5th gen) camera array, microphones, speakers and ports, and sound scoops are built in to enhance audio output.
