True Online Double-Conversion Protection with Unity Power Factor
The Socomec ITYS ITY3-TW030B is a 3000 VA / 3000 W online double-conversion UPS (VFI) with an output power factor of 1, so the full kVA rating is available as real watts. Every connected device runs from a continuously regenerated pure sine-wave output with ±1% voltage accuracy and under 1% distortion on linear loads — clean power for servers, network cores, medical and lab equipment, and anything with an active-PFC power supply.
Wide Input Window and Zero Transfer Time
The ITYS runs at full load from 160 V to 300 V input (derating linearly to 50% load down to 110 V) and accepts 40–70 Hz, riding through poor-quality supplies without touching the battery. Transfer between mains and battery is 0 ms; an automatic bypass (4 ms) keeps the load powered if the inverter is overloaded or faulted.
Built-In Battery, Expandable Runtime
The ITY3-TW030B ships with its battery inside the tower and recharges to 90% in about 3 hours. For longer backup, Socomec's ITY3-EX030B external battery module connects directly to the UPS. Socomec quotes a typical backup time of 9 min on the internal battery.
Full Communication Kit Out of the Box
USB and RS232 ports, an embedded dry-contact interface, remote power-off (RPO) input and a communication slot for an optional network card are all standard. An input mains breaker and an internal temperature sensor are built in, and the LCD front panel shows the UPS operating state.

Monitoring and Shutdown
USB and RS232 connect to a host for local monitoring and shutdown. For network monitoring over SNMP, the communication slot takes an optional Socomec network card; the dry-contact and RPO interfaces integrate with building management and emergency-stop circuits.
