The NVIDIA NVLink Bridge 3-Slot connects two identical NVIDIA Ampere professional GPUs β two RTX A6000 or two RTX A5000 cards β with a direct high-speed GPU-to-GPU link. For Singapore design, simulation and AI teams already running Ampere workstations, it is the way to get more out of a two-card setup.
Up to 112 GB/s Between GPUs
NVIDIA rates NVLink on the RTX A6000 at 112.5 GB/s bidirectional bandwidth with a single bridge, far more than the cards can exchange over the PCIe bus. In NVLink-aware applications, a pair of RTX A6000 cards can work with a combined 96 GB of GDDR6 memory (48 GB with two RTX A5000s), allowing larger renders, simulations and models than one card can hold.
3-Slot Spacing β Match It to Your Motherboard
This bridge is for GPUs installed in PCIe slots three slots apart β two dual-slot cards with one empty slot between them, a layout many workstation boards use to give the cards breathing room. If your two cards sit directly next to each other, you need the NVIDIA NVLink Bridge 2-Slot instead. The A-series bridges are low profile, enabling NVLink in a wider range of chassis.
Not for RTX PRO Blackwell or RTX Ada Cards
NVLink is not supported on NVIDIA RTX PRO Blackwell or RTX Ada Generation workstation cards, so this bridge will not work with them. It also cannot link two different GPU models β both cards must be identical.
