Note the lower bound as well as the upper one: a very light panel may not fall within the Constant Force range, and a heavy 34" curved monitor may exceed it. Check the monitor's published weight before ordering.
VESA: the arm's mounting plate is VESA MIS-D, 100/75, C — that is the 100 x 100 mm and 75 x 75 mm hole patterns, which covers the large majority of business monitors. Displays with a non-standard or recessed rear, and most all-in-one machines, need the monitor manufacturer's own VESA adapter plate.
Mounting: this listing ships with the two-piece desk clamp. Ergotron also builds this model as a factory grommet-mount variant (45-708 series) for through-desk installation, and as a low-profile C-clamp variant (45-712 series). If your desk has a grommet hole or an unusually thick or thin edge, tell our team the desk build and we will quote the right base.
Ultrawide and curved displays: with a 34" size rating the LX Pro suits 34" ultrawide and curved panels, but ultrawides are heavier than their diagonal suggests — the 22 lb (10 kg) ceiling is the figure that governs, not the screen size. Very wide panels also need clearance to pan without striking a wall, partition or the second screen.
Sit-stand desks: the arm mounts to the worksurface and travels with it, so it works on height-adjustable desks. The 13" (33 cm) of lift is on top of whatever range the desk itself provides.
