The Long Crossbar Extender increases the width of Ergotron's DS100 28" Crossbar (part 60-409-200) to 55". That is the difference between a two-screen desk stand and a genuinely wide multi-display bench — without changing the base, the pole or the desk.
Includes a Centre Display Bracket for a Third Screen
The extender ships with a centre pivot for mounting an LCD in the middle of the crossbar. So the extra width is not just space: it is a mounting position, which is what turns a dual stand into a triple.

Compatibility & Fit
This extender fits the Ergotron DS100 28" Crossbar, part 60-409-200, and takes its width to 55". Ergotron's parts list also notes that the 28" crossbar attaches to a 28" pole and requires two Sliding Pivots, ordered separately, for the outboard displays.
Choose between the two extender lengths by the finished width you need: the Long extender (this part) gives 55", the Short extender 97-446-200 gives 46". Ergotron's own product page also mentions a 46" crossbar as a starting point, but its parts list and order guide both specify the 28" crossbar 60-409-200 only — so if you are working from an existing installation, check what crossbar you actually have before ordering.
