Operating System
Windows 11 Pro. Dell also supports Windows 11 Pro downgrade (Windows 10 image) and Ubuntu 22.04 on the Latitude 7340.
Docks & Displays
Two Thunderbolt 4 ports with DisplayPort Alt Mode and Power Delivery work with Dell Thunderbolt and USB-C docks; HDMI 2.0 adds another display. There is no built-in RJ45 port, so use a dock or USB-C Ethernet adapter for wired networking.
Upgrades
Memory is LPDDR5 on the system board and cannot be upgraded. Storage uses a single M.2 2230 PCIe NVMe Gen4 slot (Dell offers up to 2TB).

Frequently Asked Questions — Dell Latitude 7340
Can I upgrade the memory?
No. The Latitude 7340 uses LPDDR5 memory on the system board, so choose 8GB or 16GB at purchase. The M.2 2230 SSD can be replaced.
Does it have an Ethernet port or SD card reader?
Neither. Dell lists no media-card reader and there is no RJ45 port; use a Thunderbolt / USB-C dock or adapter. Wi-Fi 6E is built in.
Does it support Windows Hello?
Dell offered FHD RGB-IR and 5MP RGB-IR cameras and a power-button fingerprint reader on the Latitude 7340. Availability depends on the supplied configuration — check with sales@sourceit.com.sg.
Is it still available?
