Multi-Gigabit 2.5G Access with 10G Uplinks
The D-Link DMS-1250-28 is part of D-Link's DMS-1250 series of multi-gigabit smart managed switches. It provides 24 x 2.5G RJ45 ports and 4 x 10G SFP+ uplinks. All 2.5-Gigabit Ethernet ports carry 6 kV surge protection (IEC 61000-4-5).
Performance
D-Link rates the DMS-1250-28 at 200 Gbps switching capacity and 148.81 Mpps maximum forwarding rate, with a 32K-entry MAC address table and jumbo frames up to 12,000 bytes.
L2+ Features and Static Routing
STP/RSTP/MSTP, Ethernet Ring Protection Switching (ERPS), link aggregation, Q-in-Q and Auto Surveillance/Voice VLAN are supported, and static routing (128 IPv4 / 64 IPv6 entries) lets the switch route between VLANs.
Security and Management
ACLs, 802.1X, DHCP server screening, ARP inspection, AAA/RADIUS/TACACS+ and the D-Link Safeguard Engine protect the network. Manage it through the web GUI, full CLI (console port included) and SNMP, or centrally through D-Link Nuclias Connect / the Nuclias Network Controller.

The 2.5G RJ45 ports run at 100 Mbps, 1 Gbps or 2.5 Gbps. The SFP+ ports take 10G SFP+ modules or DAC cables.
Does it route between VLANs?
Yes, with static routing: up to 128 IPv4 and 64 IPv6 static routes. Dynamic routing protocols are not listed in D-Link's datasheet.
Can DMS-1250 switches be stacked?
