Wi-Fi 7 Performance for Busy Spaces
The D-Link DLA-BE36 is a dual-band 2x2 IEEE 802.11be (Wi-Fi 7) ceiling access point in D-Link's D-Lite cloud-managed range. It delivers up to 688.5 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 2882.5 Mbps on 5.8 GHz, with 4096-QAM, Multi-Link Operation (MLO), MU-MIMO and 240 MHz channel width for low-latency multi-device use.
2.5G Uplink with PoE
Two 2.5G RJ45 ports (LAN1 with PoE-in) carry data and power over a single cable, so the AP's Wi-Fi 7 throughput is not held back by a Gigabit uplink.
Stable Coverage
Two internal 5 dBi 2.4 GHz and two internal 5 dBi 5.8 GHz antennas with beamforming reduce dead zones; D-Link quotes an ideal range of 100 m.
Management & Security
Manage from the D-Lite cloud and app, web GUI, SSH or Telnet. D-Link lists QoS, firewall, filtering, VPN, user isolation, guest SSIDs, parental controls, DoS/ARP attack defence and WEP/WPA/WPA2/WPA3 security.

Is the DLA-BE36 Wi-Fi 7?
Yes, IEEE 802.11be dual-band (2.4 and 5.8 GHz) with 4096-QAM, MLO and 240 MHz channels. It does not list a 6 GHz radio — see the tri-band DLA-BE96 for that.
What uplink does it need?
