Crestron Saros 8 in. 2-Way Pendant Speaker - Local Warranty
A weather-resistant 2-way pendant speaker for open-ceiling spaces, pairing an 8 in. woofer with a horn-loaded titanium dome tweeter and a built-in 70/100V multi-tap transformer. Suited to restaurants, retail, houses of worship, convention facilities, campuses and offices.

Frequently Asked Questions — SAROS PD8T
Can the Saros PD8T be used on a 70V or 100V system?
Yes. A built-in 60 W multi-tap transformer supports 70V and 100V distributed systems, and an 8 Ohm bypass setting is also available.
How is the transformer tap selected?
With a recessed screwdriver-adjustable rotary switch on the speaker baffle, located behind the magnetic grille.
Can it be used outdoors?
Crestron describes it as weather-resistant for use under eaves and in semi-enclosed spaces, with an IPx4 splash rating per IEC 60529.
How is the speaker hung?
From a single rigging point beneath the top cover, using the supplied 3 m wire rope with snap hook and Gripple self-locking grip, which allows quick length adjustment.
Is it sold as a pair?
No. Saros PD8T speakers are priced and sold individually, in black or white; both finishes are paintable.
