Crestron DM Essentials 4K60 4:4:4 2x1 Auto-Switching Transmitter for HDMI and USB-C with USB 2.0 - Local Warranty
A surface-mountable DM Essentials transmitter with two inputs, HDMI and USB-C DisplayPort, that auto-switches and extends the selected source plus USB 2.0 data over one CATx cable to an HD-RXU-4KZ Series receiver.

How does input switching work?
Switching between HDMI and USB-C occurs on the last connected input or by assigned routing priority. Inputs can also be selected with front-panel buttons, the web interface or control system programming.
Does it support 5K displays?
Yes. It supports 5K Ultra-Wide 5120 x 2160 and 5K Super-Wide 5120 x 1440 resolutions.
Can it be powered by the receiver?
No. The HD-TXU-4KZ-211 is powered by its included power pack and cannot receive power from a remote DM Essentials receiver.
Can a USB camera or room peripherals be used with an HDMI source?
Yes. The USB-C DEVICE port associated with the HDMI input provides USB 2.0 for sources that need it, alongside the two USB host ports.
