A DM Essentials transmitter with two HDMI and two USB-C DisplayPort inputs, automatic switching and up to 60W charging per USB-C port, extending 4K60 4:4:4 HDR video over CATx to a DM Essentials receiver or DMPS Essentials switcher.

4K60 4:4:4 and HDR over HDMI need HDMI cables and couplers rated for at least 18 Gbps TMDS bandwidth (10.2 Gbps is acceptable for 4K60 4:2:0 or 4K30 4:4:4). For the USB-C DisplayPort input, 4K60 4:4:4 and HDR need USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbps) cables supporting DisplayPort Alt Mode (CBL-USB3G1-C-C-6 and CBL-USB3G2-C-C-3 sold separately).

Can the HD-TX-4KZ-421-CHGR charge a laptop?
Yes. Each USB-C DisplayPort input can charge the connected source with up to 60W, provided the unit is powered by its included PW-2475DU power pack.
Does charging work when powered by the receiver or switcher?
No. If it is powered by a remote DM Essentials receiver or DMPS Essentials switcher, the USB-C inputs provide no charging.
What inputs does it have?
Two HDMI inputs and two USB-C inputs with DisplayPort Alt Mode, with automatic switching or manual front-panel selection.
Which receivers and switchers are supported?
