Crestron DM Essentials 4K60 4:4:4 eARC Transmitter/Receiver Kit for HDMI, RS-232, IR and Optical Audio - Local Warranty
A DM Essentials transmitter (HD-TXC-EARC) and receiver (HD-RXC-EARC) pair that extends HDMI AV plus eARC or optical digital audio over a single CAT5e or better cable, ideal where the source is remote from a display, projector or codec.

Power is carried over the CATx cable linking the transmitter and receiver. The HDMI/OPTICAL switch on the transmitter selects which audio output is prioritised.

Frequently Asked Questions — HD-EARC KIT
What does eARC add to this extender?
The receiver HDMI port supports eARC, so audio from the display (for example smart TV apps) can be returned to the transmitter HDMI port over the same link, supporting Dolby formats up to Dolby Atmos and DTS formats up to DTS:X.
How far can the signal be extended?
Up to 100 m (330 ft) for resolutions up to 2K, or up to 70 m (230 ft) for higher resolutions up to 4K, depending on cable type. Refer to the transmission distance table.
Do both units need power?
No. The power pack supplied with the HD-TXC-EARC powers both units; power is transmitted over the CATx cable.
Is it compatible with HDBaseT or DM 8G+ equipment?
No. Crestron states the DM Essentials ports are not compatible with DigitalMedia 8G+, HDBaseT, PoE, PoDM or other CATx-based interfaces.
Does it support interlaced video?
No. The kit does not support interlaced video; maximum resolution is 4K60 4:4:4.
