An enterprise-grade network appliance that configures, controls and manages a DM NVX AV-over-IP system, emulating a traditional hardware DM matrix switcher. The DM-NVX-DIR2 supports up to 100 DM NVX encoder and decoder endpoints across 20 domains.

How many DM NVX endpoints does the DM-NVX-DIR2 support?
Up to 100 DM NVX endpoints, each configured as an encoder or decoder, grouped into up to 20 domains.
Can signals be routed between domains?
Yes. Interdomain routing lets video inputs in one domain be routed to outputs in other domains, via the web interface or control system programming.
Does it need a Crestron control system?
The appliance has its own web interface for configuration and routing. It also integrates with Crestron 3-Series and later control systems, including multiple control systems across domains.
What if I need more than 100 endpoints?
Crestron states that multiple DM-NVX-DIR2 appliances can be used, or the DM-NVX-DIR-ENT, which supports 1000 endpoints and 240 domains.
Can more Ethernet ports be added?
Yes. One Ethernet port is built in, and up to three ADPT-USB3.0-GBENET adapters (sold separately) can be connected via USB.
