A 1 RU enterprise network appliance that configures, controls and manages large DM NVX AV-over-IP systems as a virtual matrix switcher. It supports up to 1000 DM NVX endpoints in 240 domains, with copper and 10G fibre connectivity and hot-swappable redundant power supplies.

How many endpoints and domains does the DM-NVX-DIR-ENT support?
Up to 1000 DM NVX endpoints in up to 240 domains. Multiple units can be used for larger systems.
Does it support fibre connections?
Yes. It has six SFP+ ports. Ports 7–8 accept Crestron SFP-10G modules only; ports 9–12 accept SFP-1G or SFP-10G modules. Transceivers are sold separately.
What happens if a power supply fails?
The unit continues to operate on the remaining power supply. Both modules are hot-swappable from the rear panel without powering down, and both ship installed.
How is the DM-NVX-DIR-ENT different from the DM-NVX-DIR2?
The DM-NVX-DIR2 supports 100 endpoints and 20 domains on a compact desktop platform. The DM-NVX-DIR-ENT supports 1000 endpoints and 240 domains, adds 10G SFP+ ports and redundant power in a 1 RU chassis.
Can it be rack mounted?
Yes. It is 1 RU and 19-inch rack-mountable with included brackets for front and rear rack rails, or it can be freestanding.
