Frequently Asked Questions — DM-NAX-2XLRI-1G
Can the DM-NAX-2XLRI-1G power condenser microphones?
Yes. Each XLR input can supply +48V phantom power when configured for microphone level.
How is it powered?
By PoE from an IEEE 802.3af compliant Ethernet switch or third-party PSE; it draws 2.9 W.
Does it work with Dante?
Yes, via AES67 using the compatibility mode enabled through Dante Controller.
Can it output audio locally as well?
Yes. It operates as both encoder and decoder, so it can receive AoIP streams and output them on the rear line-level output, for example to an MP-WP-2XLRO-1G or MP-WP-2RCAO-1G media wall plate.
What DSP is available?
A 5-band EQ per XLR input and level control of all inputs and outputs, configured through the web interface.
