Frequently Asked Questions — DM-DGE-200-C
Does the DM-DGE-200-C need a Crestron touch screen?
No. It pairs with the Crestron TSD-2220 but also works with most third-party USB HID-compliant touch screens, or with no touch screen at all using the on-screen menu (OSM) controlled by a Crestron handheld remote or USB mouse.
What output resolutions does it support?
Full HD 1080p60 (1920x1080@60Hz) or 4K UHD (3840x2160@30Hz). All inputs are automatically scaled to the output resolution when shown full screen.
Can it show streaming video from IP cameras?
Yes. It natively decodes H.264 and MJPEG streams up to 1080p60, with up to two simultaneous streams totalling 25 Mbps.
Is an Ethernet connection required?
Yes. Crestron states an Ethernet connection is required for touch screen and OSM control applications.
Can it power a connected DM transmitter?
Yes. The DM input is a PoDM PSE port supplying up to 15.4 W to one PoDM powered device.
