Frequently Asked Questions — CP4
How many programs can the CP4 run?
Up to ten programs simultaneously, so device-specific programs can be changed without affecting the whole system.
Can the CP4 be managed remotely?
Yes. It supports Crestron Fusion for room monitoring and scheduling, and the XiO Cloud service for remote provisioning, monitoring and management, including loading programs before the unit arrives on site.
Does it support BACnet?
Yes, natively over IP. A free licence supports up to 50 BACnet objects; more requires one SW-3SERIES-BACNET-50+ licence, up to a maximum of 1000 objects.
How is the CP4 powered?
By the included PW-2420RU power pack, or alternatively from a Cresnet power supply via the NET port (connect only one).
What is the difference between the CP4 and CP4N?
The CP4N adds a dedicated Control Subnet Gigabit Ethernet port that creates an isolated local network for Crestron devices.
