Frequently Asked Questions — CEN-IO-DIGIN
What is the difference between CEN-IO-DIGIN-104 and CEN-IO-DIGIN-204?
The CEN-IO-DIGIN-104 connects over wired Ethernet and is powered by PoE. The CEN-IO-DIGIN-204 connects over Wi-Fi and is powered by an included 5 VDC power pack. Both provide four digital inputs.
What voltage can the inputs accept?
The digital inputs accept 0–24 VDC, referenced to ground, with a 2.2k ohm pull-up to 5 V.
Does the CEN-IO-DIGIN-104 need a power supply?
No. It is powered over the LAN cable by PoE, from a PWE-4803RU injector or a Crestron PoE switch (sold separately).
What does the Wi-Fi version need to work?
An 802.11a/b/g/n wireless access point and an Ethernet-enabled Crestron control system. It can memorise up to five access points.
How is it mounted?
The included bracket fastens it to a flat surface or a 35 mm DIN rail. Units can be stacked, and rack and pole mount kits are available separately.
