The AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 9965WX brings 24 Zen 5 cores and 48 threads to the sTR5 platform, with 128 MB of L3 cache and clocks from 4.2 GHz up to 5.4 GHz. It is built for rendering, simulation, compilation, AI development and other heavily threaded work that outgrows mainstream desktops.
sTR5 Platform
It installs in sTR5 motherboards (WRX90, TRX50, Pro 695) and supports 8-channel DDR5 RDIMM memory, with PCIe 5.0 connectivity (144 usable lanes from the CPU). Base clock is 4.2 GHz, boost reaches up to 5.4 GHz, and default TDP is 350 W.
Discrete Graphics Required
This processor has no integrated graphics, so a discrete graphics card is required for display output. AMD PRO technologies add manageability and security features for business fleets.
