The AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D combines 12 Zen 5 cores and 24 threads with AMD 3D V-Cache technology, giving the processor 128 MB of L3 cache. Games and other latency-sensitive workloads keep more of their data on-chip, which is why AMD builds its X3D parts for gaming.
AM5 Platform
It installs in AM5 motherboards (A620, X670E, X670, B650E, B650, X870E, X870, B840, B850) and supports 2-channel DDR5 UDIMM memory up to 256 GB, with PCIe 5.0 connectivity (24 usable lanes from the CPU). Base clock is 4.4 GHz, boost reaches up to 5.5 GHz, and default TDP is 120 W.
Integrated Graphics
Integrated AMD Radeon Graphics (2 graphics cores at 2200 MHz) provides display output without a discrete card.
