It was Google Meet certified hardware, not a repurposed general-purpose PC, and it integrated with Google Workspace for calendar-driven room scheduling.

Where the Range Has Moved To

ASUS's current Google Meet hardware is built on a newer Intel Core i5-1335U compute platform with eight years of documented auto-update support, sold across a bare compute unit and three complete kit tiers — Starter, Small/Medium Room and Large Room. It is the same Intel Core i5-1335U engine that drives ASUS's Starter, Small/Medium Room and Large Room kits, so it is the right choice when you already own compatible Google Meet peripherals, need a spare or replacement compute unit for an existing installation, or want to build a room around specific camera and audio hardware rather than take a fixed bundle.

If you are starting a room from nothing and want camera, audio and control hardware included, look at the GQE20A-G5039UN Starter, GQE20A-G5010UN Small/Medium Room or GQE20A-G5040UN Large Room kits in our catalogue instead — all three use this same compute platform with peripherals added.

Intel Core i5-1335U for Smooth Conferencing

The GQE20A-G5037UN runs a 13th Generation Intel Core i5-1335U processor with 16GB of DDR4 memory and a 256GB NVMe SSD, giving it enough headroom to encode and decode video, run screen sharing, and drive a display simultaneously without the stutter that undersized meeting-room hardware produces on a busy call. This is the same silicon ASUS uses across the whole current Google Meet room kit range, so performance is consistent whichever tier you deploy.

ChromeOS, Managed Centrally, Updated Automatically

The unit runs ChromeOS built for Google Meet Rooms rather than a general-purpose desktop OS. It is managed through the Google Admin Console alongside any other Google Meet hardware on your account, and ASUS documents eight years of auto-update support on this compute generation, so patching and feature updates roll out centrally without a technician visiting each room.

Compact and Mountable Behind Any Display

At roughly 284 x 135 x 29.5 mm and under a kilogram, the CN65H3 unit is small enough to sit on a VESA mount on the back of a meeting-room display, on a table mount, or tucked into a credenza, keeping the room free of visible computing hardware. The same mounting hardware ASUS ships with its full room kits applies here.

Supplied Locally, with GST Invoice and Singapore Warranty

SourceIT supplies the GQE20A-G5037UN as a currently stocked ASUS product with a full GST invoice and local Singapore warranty support, matched to ASUS's 3-year on-site service term for this Google Meet compute generation.

Not sure whether you need the bare compute unit or a complete kit with camera, audio and control hardware included? Electronic PTZ means the framing and zoom are handled digitally within a wide, fixed field of view rather than by a physically moving lens — it is a genuinely different camera class from the true optical PTZ camera fitted to our Large Room kit, and it suits a room where the whole table sits comfortably within one wide shot rather than a room that needs the camera to physically reframe across a long boardroom.

Daisy-Chainable Speakerphone with 360° Pickup

Audio comes from a daisy-chainable speakerphone with 360° omnidirectional microphone pickup and echo cancellation and noise suppression processing, so voices from any seat are picked up clearly and the far end doesn't hear the room's own speaker feeding back into the call. Because the unit is daisy-chainable, a Starter Kit room that later turns out to need more audio coverage can add further linked speakerphone units rather than replacing the whole audio system.

Remote Control, Not a Touch Panel

Where the Starter Kit differs most from the Small/Medium Room and Large Room kits is the control method: it ships with a wireless remote control with an embedded keyboard rather than an in-room touchscreen panel. If your room seats more than around nine people, or is long and narrow rather than compact, the Large Room kit is the better match.

</details><details class="pd-acc">
Package Contents & Ordering Information

In the Box

ASUS Google Meet compute unit, ePTZ UHD camera, Google Meet speakermic, 10.1-inch touch control panel, mounting kit, power adapter, cables, user documentation.

ASUS Google Meet Room Kit Range — Current Models

GQE20A-G5037UN — Compute Unit Only

Compute unit only, no peripherals

Bring your own camera/audio, or spare unit

GQE20A-G5039UN — Starter Kit

Compute + ePTZ camera + speakerphone + remote control

Up to around 9 people, remote control

GQE20A-G5010UN — Small/Medium Room Kit (this listing)

Compute + ePTZ camera + speakermic + 10.1in touch panel

Up to around 8-9 people, touch-panel control

GQE20A-G5040UN — Large Room Kit

Compute + true PTZ camera + speakerphone + 10.1in touch panel

Above 10 people, optical zoom PTZ camera

Need an additional speakermic for daisy-chaining, or a spare touch panel? The kit pairs the same compute platform used across the range with a genuinely different camera: a true optical pan-tilt-zoom unit rather than the electronic PTZ camera fitted to the two smaller kits.

True PTZ Camera with 24x Optical Zoom

Where the Starter and Small/Medium Room kits use an ePTZ camera — a fixed lens with digital reframing inside one wide shot — the Large Room Kit's camera is a true PTZ unit that physically pans, tilts and zooms, with up to 24x optical zoom. That is a meaningful difference for a big room: the camera can genuinely move to frame a speaker at the far end of a long boardroom table rather than just cropping into a fixed wide shot, and AI-powered auto-framing with smart composition keeps the shot centred on whoever is talking as the meeting moves around the room.

10.1-Inch Touch Control Panel, Same as Small/Medium Room

Control is via the same 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen fitted to the Small/Medium Room kit, running at 1280 x 800 resolution, with one-touch meeting join, volume and camera control, and participant management. Like the Small/Medium Room kit, this is fixed touch-panel control, not the Starter Kit's handheld remote.

Speakerphone, Daisy-Chainable to Cover a Bigger Room

Audio uses the same daisy-chainable conference speakerphone family as the rest of the range, with 360° omnidirectional pickup, roughly 6 metres of range per unit, and echo cancellation and noise suppression. Daisy-chaining matters more here than in the smaller kits — a large room or boardroom is exactly the scenario where a single speakerphone's pickup range may not reach every seat, and additional linked units extend coverage without adding a second, separate audio system.

Same Compute Platform, Sized for the Extra Camera Workload

The Large Room Kit runs the same Intel Core i5-1335U compute unit, 16GB DDR4 memory and 256GB NVMe SSD as the rest of the current range, with ChromeOS, eight years of documented auto-update support and Google Admin Console management. The processor headroom that is comfortable margin in the smaller kits is put to more active use here, driving the true PTZ camera's continuous auto-framing and tracking alongside the video call itself.

Supplied Locally, with GST Invoice and Singapore Warranty

SourceIT supplies the GQE20A-G5040UN as a currently stocked ASUS product with a full GST invoice and local Singapore warranty support, matched to ASUS's 3-year on-site service term for this Google Meet room kit generation.

Not sure if your room genuinely needs the Large Room tier, or if Small/Medium Room would do?
